The O'Donnell Eye Institute was established in 1985 by Dr. Francis E. O'Donnell Jr. and Dr Byron Santos. Dr. O'Donnell and Dr. Santos are innovators in the field of ophthalmologic surgery and the doctors at the O'Donnell Eye Institute holds numerous ophthalmic patents as a result in the fields of intraocular implant, macular degeneration, glaucoma detection and treatment, and laser refractive surgery (Lasik). Dr. O'Donnell is on an extended sabbatical, developing a biopharmaceutical portfolio including pharmaceuticals for the prevention and treatment of macular degeneration.

The O'Donnell Eye Institute was founded upon a commitment to provide quality surgical eye care. Our professional services include cataract/implant, glaucoma, complete retinal care- including diabetes and macular degeneration, and refractive surgery- PRK and LASIK. The doctors at the O'Donnell Eye Institute can also help you with any other eye problems that you may encounter. However, since we are focused on medical and surgical eye care, we do not prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses.
